Vans55 are proud to support Aston Tutt. British championship, World Cup, World Championship downhill mountain bike racer.
2016 was an exciting year for the 17 year old championship racer from the Cotswold's. Riding for Pedalabikeaway in only her second (first full) season she rode her awesome Orange 324 downhill bike with much success. Aston won 4 out of 7 national races (only off the podium once). Raced her first World Cup at Fort William (4th place) and went on to Leogang in Austria and Val Nord in Andorra for more World Cup racing. Her international racing experience proved worthwhile and she was selected to race for team GB at the UCI World Championships in Val di Sole - Italy.
This was an incredible achievement and a great experience for her but it wasn't Aston's time for glory. Never the less she rode to 8th in the world despite carrying an injury and was the first junior women to represent GB at the worlds in several years. 2017 is looking to be another exciting year for Aston, now on the Madison/Saracen factory racing development team she steps up from the junior's to race in the Elite Women's category.
Vans55 would like to wish Aston the very best for the coming season and remember, 'Keep it pinned!'
